I took the opportunity to promote Madewell, J Crew's stylish sister brand known for its quality denim and great style, to the University of Miami. In a period of 5 months, our on-campus team was able to increase awareness and brand loyalty by:

  • Personally reaching out to girls on campus to inform them about the brand and any events associated with it
  • Spreading awareness through social media, personal emails and campus media
  • Collecting over 700 email addresses on campus
  • Raising over $3,444 in sales for Madewell's Lincoln Road store and brand through on and off campus shopping events and two online flash sales

We raised awareness for the brand primarily through social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr. 


 In Store Event

Madewell is a revered brand amongst many women at the University of Miami; however, there was one thing holding them back from visiting the store: distance. So in lieu of our Spring shopping party, we came up with a solution: providing our own transportation. So one Saturday night, a group of over 25 girls hopped on a yellow school bus and trekked over to Madewell's Lincoln Road location in South Beach.


The event offered the girls a chance to relax after a busy week of midterms. There were treats, savings, raffles and even a D.J. to add to the atmosphere.
